Shane Christie
“It feels like a bruise in your head and when you’re walking, it hurts. So when you’re thinking it hurts, when you’re trying to exercise, the pressure hurts, and you’re not as fast and can’t think as quick”.
The words of former NZ rugby player Shane Christie describing ongoing post concussion symptoms. How tragic that it cost him his life so young. The struggles of post concussion syndrome are very, very real.
I hope his voice will be heard and his struggle won't be in vain.
